These terms govern the use of the Simultano website and service, provided by Prevedi24.ba. A specific quote, order, or contract may contain additional terms that take precedence for that particular service.
The Service
Simultano turns speech into translated audio and live captions. The exact scope of the service, means of access, support, and available features are defined on the service page and in the accepted quote or order.
The service depends on the quality of the input audio, the internet connection, devices, and other technical conditions. The user is responsible for providing the agreed audio access and technical conditions on their side.
Who may use the service
A person ordering or using the service on behalf of an organization confirms that they are authorized to accept these terms for that organization. The information the user provides should be accurate and sufficient for providing the service.
Permitted use
You may use the service only lawfully and in accordance with the rights of others. It is not permitted to:
- submit audio, text, or other content for which you do not have the necessary rights or permissions;
- use the service for unlawful, misleading, threatening, or harmful content;
- interfere with the operation, security, or availability of the service;
- attempt unauthorized access to the service's systems, data, or features;
- circumvent technical limitations or use the service in a way that may put other users at risk.
The event organizer is responsible for informing attendees and for having an appropriate legal basis for processing the audio and other data they pass to the service.
Ordering and payment
The price, billing period, taxes, payment deadline, and any additional costs are stated in the accepted quote, order, or invoice. The user is required to pay undisputed amounts within the stated deadline.
If payment is late, Prevedi24.ba may, after notice where reasonably possible, temporarily suspend the service until obligations are settled. Rules on event cancellation, rescheduling, and refunds are stated in the quote or order.
Translation accuracy
The translation is produced by automatic speech processing and may contain errors, especially with unclear audio, names, technical terms, or overlapping speech. The user should assess whether the service is appropriate for the purpose of the event and ensure human review where regulations, safety, or the nature of the content require it.
Simultano is not a substitute for a certified translation or professional advice. Decisions that may significantly affect rights, health, safety, or obligations should not be based solely on automatic translation.
Content and rights
The user retains the rights to the content they submit. The user grants Prevedi24.ba a limited authorization to process that content only to provide, protect, and support the contracted service.
The user confirms that they have the rights and permissions required for such processing. Rights to the website, software, design, and other parts of the service that are not user content belong to their respective holders and are not transferred by these terms.
Privacy and confidentiality
How personal data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy. If an event requires a special confidentiality or data processing arrangement, it is agreed before the service begins.
Liability
Each party is liable for the obligations it has undertaken and for damages for which liability arises under applicable law. Prevedi24.ba is not liable for interruptions or errors caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including problems with the user's equipment, connection, audio source, or third-party services.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Specific liability rules for a particular service may be set out in a contract.
Suspension and termination
The user may stop using the service and terminate the relationship in accordance with the accepted quote or contract. Prevedi24.ba may suspend or terminate the service if the user materially breaches these terms, fails to settle due obligations, uses the service unlawfully, or creates a serious security risk.
Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach before suspension or termination. Termination does not affect obligations that have already arisen. After the relationship ends, data is retained or deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable obligations.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms when the service, our business practices, or applicable regulations change. The updated version and the date of the change will be published on this page. If a change materially affects an active service, we will notify users in an appropriate way.
